Maria was extremely knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. She analyzed my previous insurance policies and went above and beyond at that point. Not only making a smooth transition from my previous carrier to State Farm, but able to cut my rates by half for my truck and motorcycles. That’s right people, HALF!!!!!!. "I've been to many places shopping for what we all call the cheapest rate but at the end of the day you pay for what you get. When I chose to stay with State Farm, I did so for many reasons. I ended paying a bit more for my insurance but have always received the BEST customer service of which they go above and beyond the call of duty. I vow for quality over quantity. "In August, my insurance policy with State Farm was canceled without my knowledge due to what I was later told was an internal error. I only discovered the issue when my boyfriend was pulled over and, fortunately, received only a warning for not having proof of insurance. After multiple calls and repeated “let me look into this” responses, I was eventually told the cancellation was their mistake and that it had also triggered a notification to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, which resulted in my license being suspended. I was assured everything would be corrected.
Months later, when I went to renew my vehicle registration, I learned the suspension had never been fixed. Because of this, I couldn’t renew my sticker, which created additional complications for us — especially since we operate commercial vehicles and had been driving unaware that our licenses were showing as suspended due to an insurance company clerical error.
After struggling to reach someone in the office, I finally spoke with Kiera, who did help by uploading the necessary documentation so the DMV could restore my license. I appreciated that assistance and thanked her. However, I also requested a credit or compensation for the months of inconvenience, stress, and the fact that I had been charged for coverage during a period when I was apparently not insured. She assured me she would speak with management and follow up. That follow-up never happened.
Instead, weeks later, I received a payment reminder. I responded to that message explaining that I had not received the promised credit. There was no response. I withheld payment because I felt it was unreasonable to pay until this matter was addressed fairly.
Most recently, I spoke with Delilah, explained the entire situation again, and was promised a return call the following Monday within business hours. Once again, no call came.
What is most frustrating is not just the original error — mistakes happen — but the lack of accountability, follow-through, and communication afterward. This situation caused unnecessary legal risk, significant inconvenience, and ongoing frustration over several months. As a long-time customer, I expected far better service and professionalism.
At this point, I am still waiting for the matter to be fully addressed."
